Raman Spectroscopy Studies of Equilibrated Ordinary Chondrites with H and L Group and Shock Metamorphism Degrees

Ordinary chondrites are the most common type of chondrites. As a non-destructive, rapid, and semi-quantitative technology, Raman spectroscopy is widely used in geoscience. This paper presents results spectroscopic study that we conducted for 16 ordinary with different chemical groups variable degrees shock metamorphism. We found that: (1) relationship between Fe composition olivine pyroxene characteristic peaks spectrum established by predecessors cannot be refined to range meteorites, on meteorites also affects spectral characteristics minerals (2) full width at half maximum (FWHM) shocked (including high-pressure minerals) increases spectrum, however, no clear numerical pressure was found. Based these data, assess feasibility classification group metamorphism not well established.
